Though I don’t paint “things”, my work is not at all abstract. I paint light. More accurately, I paint light on the surface of things; not forms, but light on forms; not movement, but the movement of light & the emotion it produces upon me.

My work is inspired by transition, confinement, & the play of light on (mostly) interior surfaces. In that, I seek to capture & translate the essence of existence & the transient nature of life, marked by subtle changes in the relationship between light & time.
